This product is exactly what I was looking for. It’s durable, practical, and very easy to use. A great buy!
The product is decent. It performs well, but there are a few aspects I think could be improved. Overall, it’s a good option for the price.

It works as well as I could hoped for. It does feel cheap but seems to work rather well. I have used it on a Canon SL3 autofocus seems to works pretty fast and a bit noisy. On my BMPCC4K I have it attached to a viltrox EF-M2 II and it works perfectly on it for me (no autofocus). I don't use autofocus on any lens with this camera.
Saved so much money and it was perfect!
For the price you can't beat this lens.
The lens works perfectly well. Pictures are sharp. Video is amazing. I love it. The build quality doesnt seem too great, its plastic and has a weird rattle when you shake it. But still holds up great and I think most folks would have a hard time figuring out that the work this produces is from a lens under 100 dollars. I added some pictures and I also shot VIDEO which came out awesome , check it out on my Instagram account : @chriscameraguy I use a Canon 80d incase you're wondering.
Autofocus is a little slow and loud. But image quality is great. I mean it’s $100... and for that price it can’t be topped. <ol
Five stars for the price
This lens is amazing!! The way my clients look in the photos are great. Their skin is smooth and the background bokeh is very nice. If you're thinking about this lens over an actual Canon lens..Id say the cheaper option definitely will do.
The lens is great!! I would suggest it at as the first lens for those with a crop censor if they already have a kit lens. The lens will not perform at f/1.2 on the camera. On my Canon T6 it starts at f/2 with a focal length close to 56.7mm. The lens can turn a crop censor into a close equivalent of 50mm. As far as I know there aren't many lenses that can let in this much light at this price. Honestly I wish I both it sooner. It is made of plastic and can break if mishandled so I would get the 3 warranty for only $10 extra dollars. The only other crop censored lenses I would consider is the sigma 18-35mm f1.8 canon and the Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Lens for Canon EF. The following lenses cost a lot more but if you plan to only use Aps-c cameras then the following three lenses are a must. If want to your next camera to be full frame the YONGNUO YN35mm is the cheapest lens that could make the transition and hold you over until you can buy better glass.
Holy smokes!!! X2 the auto focus is some slow TRASH!!! But when you get off the struggle bus and hit the M and tickle that wheel with your middle finger and get that glass to focus it's amazing! I only have pictures of the kid at the pool doing flips (I don't post him on the internet,) but I'll take more soon and post them.
Great for the price.
No cons. Just pros. An amazing product!
I picked this up for nightclubs because my Canon 50mm 1.8 is too cropped in for small Venus on a cropped sensor. The image quality is great. I was hesitant to grab this at first because I thought it would be complete garbage for the price but it surprised me. I use my 18-55mm Canon kit lens in daylight but I wouldn’t mind using this prime lens if I had to. In fact, I just picked up a Canon 1n film camera and intend on this being my main lens since my kit lens has an EF-S mount. If you want to regularly shoot in low light. Buy this, it’s well worth the money. <ol
Thank you, arrived on time. Takes great photos
So far, I'm happy with this lens. It's not the sharpest glass ever, but it's pretty darn good for a sub-$100 lens. The autofocus is quite good, fast and responsive, much better than my 15 year old Canon 50mm f1.8. Bokeh looks great and it's slight softness makes it a nice wide portrait lens on a crop sensor camera. I would recommend this lens for a shoot that does not require tack-sharp optics and good OOF highlights. Remember, this is a cheap lens. DO NOT expect it to perform like a $600 35mm f2. But, again, for the price, it's not terrible.
This is a great lens. I have a Canon 80D and I'm able to blur out my backrounds with this thing like a pro. I had a 50mm prime that was my favorite, but it has now been supplanted by this 35mm. It has f2 aperature and metal mounts!!!! This thing is legit!
Is very sharp for the price
We all know that it's not an expensive lens, therefore it is okay for the price. It comes handy for its size and wait when being used and balanced on a Steadicam.
Love this 35mm lens. I’ve taken very good pics with it the last couple days <o
Not bad. Starting to like this little lens
I love this lens! I’m sure it won’t last long but I love how it’s performed for the price! It is a tiny bit slow but not too bad! It’s perfect for senior portraits. I think it performs better if you have it on a high end camera body. <ol clas
