With ferrous substrate (FE) and non-ferrous substrate (NFE) measurements, the composite UT343A coating thickness gauge features the characteristics of high precision and reliable performance. Based on the principles of electromagnetic induction and eddy current, the product detects the thickness of the non-magnetic coating on the magnetic metal substrate and the non-conductive coating on the non-magnetic metal substrate.

The measurement method complies with the eddy current method for measuring the thickness of the non-conductive coating on the non-magnetic metal substrate of GB/T 4957.
