This was exactly what I was looking for.IThis one works great. It restores the natural sound of the pickup to amp. No added noise and no tone deterioration - and at a very low price compared to most of the other stuff I saw.
I have been playing in a band for a lot of years playing a large variety of cover songs from various bands. I use a large pedal board using 16 effects pedals in order to reproduce the tones of the original artists. This leads to tone loss due to a large number of lead and patch cables. I was currently using an LPB-1 at the end of the signal which seemed to work and does a great job. I didn't really think I could improve the tone by adding a buffer at the beginning of the signal. When I saw this product and the price it was selling for I decided to give it a try. I plugged it in right after the tuner which is first in the chain. I was surprised at the improvement to the mids and highs. I play through a Marshall stack that can sometimes be a little muddy. This buffer improve my tone without spending a small fortune . Great product. I would recommend it.
This was exactly what I was looking for. I run through a lot of pedals and cable so I was looking for a buffer to fix the tone suck. I didn't need one with a light to tell me it's on, or a knob to boost the gain. I just wanted a simple buffer circuit that I could plug in and forget about. This one works great.
