This super lightweight stove is perfect for backpacking. It burns hot, even and clean. It leaves no soot at all on cookware. The only minor drawback is it's narrow diameter. It needs to be set on a firm level surface to avoid tipping.

This is a wonderful backpacking stove. It primed for me in 40degree weather in about 15 seconds with denatured alcohol fuel and boiled two cups of water in about 6 minutes. It's light, reliable, well made and fun to use. would purchase again.

Works great, very light weight and burns hot. Per another review, I'm not sure how much lighter you need, this thing weighs very little. Initially ran it with 91% isopropyl but switched to denatured. We got 2 more to have for emergencies since they're priced so well

Really good and really light. I wish that the stand could be attacked to the stove when it was broken down. Actually a very viable way to cook on the trail. Regular alcohol creates a lot of soot, whereas denatured alcohol does not. If you don't mind dealing with the soot, then your alcohol serves dual purpose. If you can use denatured alcohol for first aid, which I don't know if you can or not, then your alcohol can serve dual purposes without producing soot.

I took this stove out for an overnighter and it works as an alcohol stove should. It bloomed quickly and boiled two cups of water quickly.

Awesome kit! Extremely light. Easy on the Wallet! Boiled two Cups of water from tap in Titanium container in Six minutes! Ran total of twelve minutes on two ounces of Denatured Alcohol! This little stove turned out much better than I had expected. It was easy to light, warmed up very quickly, and put out a very nice flame. It gets very hot so you would not want to place it on something flammable or to touch it after you have lighted it until you give it time to cool off. I would definitely buy it again.
