It’s a decent product, but I expected more given the price. but a little more innovation would be great.
The product is okay, but it could be improved.

Joyo's pedals are cheap and sound great ... This pedal is very good at simulating Mesa Boogie, and the controls provide a wide variety of sounds, from cleaning to monster overload. Although some people expressed concern about the use of these to perform, I have already begun to perform some actions in the last month without any problem.
All I hope All the distortion I can see is necessary! Excellent price and construction.
This is worth every penny. Do not expect to do this brutality, but if you push it with excess speed, you can approach the classic metal field. Very flexible, if used in front of the amplifier, it will definitely change the performance to a boogie amplifier. If you use it with an amplifier, don't be too loud. If you get a unit gain, you should not worry about noise. I will come again! You will get Santana's early voice effortlessly. Thanks to the incredible value of several controls, it has great flexibility.
I tried to mark Greg Ginn's voice with a black flag. I know that a pedal cannot do this, but it does a good job with the hard tone of the vulgar 80s. For me, this pedal sound is the most suitable for use as a monoblock effect. I didn't use it alone with my 120 watt crat gx212 solid state amplifier. Punk should sound better to insert an amplifier. The pedal is an analog amplifier pedal, which means there is no overload in front of the pedal. Just get the income. My bass is at 4, in the middle 0, shaking 6, level 4, the sound is always up, driving or climbing all the way. Most of my use of Fender blacktop strat and Gibson sg has disappeared. You get a very vulgar, powerful and twisted hardcore punk tone. Perfect, exactly what I want. I also play with metal, this does not make metal. I use Electro Harmonics Metal Muff and you will not go wrong. The best metal pedals there. I recommend Joyo California Sound for hardcore, punk, rock, but not metal or blue, although you might like blues instead of metal.
I have to try this on bass because one of my best tones is from the Boogie bass amplifier and the 100 watt Mk II head up to 2x15. Warm and powerful and balloons. California sounds can earn enough income from superior sound. At 10 o'clock, many serious ones are serious, so be careful not to blow your stuff. It also worked very well with my other speed and combination to give a sweet and smooth response. Recording a track in search of warm and diffuse tones, CS is perfect.
Although I recently replaced this bad pedal in the Amplitube 4 recording settings, I will keep it. As many have said, this pedal will give a Mesa Boogie tone. Although I had the opportunity to play the Mesa Boogie amplifier, it is a small combined amplifier. I would say that this pedal sounds very close to some of the Mesa Boogie sounds that I loaded on the Amplitube. A person who heard the song I recorded with this pedal said that my tone looks a bit like Carlos Santana. I am not a demanding person with authenticity in such a thing. I just want to find a pedal that gives me a clean, overloaded and distorted amplified tone. This pedal is stuck in it, no matter how it sounds like a table. Boogie amplifier or not. Although this is not a plug-and-play device, taking the time to mark it will really make it very clean (I mean, clean, not very slight overhead). I have found the greatest difficulty in the use of light overtones, especially in the middle range. I can't lose the pedal because most people want Mesa Boogie to make a horrible distortion. And this is where the pedal is at home. It will attract a lot of profit before you turn the gain knob to a high level. So, if you need a "pedal amplifier" and need versatility, I suggest you take a good look. If you want to get a high gain in metallic tones (or Carlos Santana's tone, I think), this is definitely a pedal to consider. I have had a pedal for almost a year, and although it is rarely used now, it still works. Remember, do not sing or literally step on my box. As it is used as an amplifier, it is saved on the desktop and opened manually, so I cannot comment on durability.
Now I am a 90's replacement rock band, and this pedal is perfect. You can use it to get a variety of sounds. If you are looking for Blink-182, green distortion sound, this pedal will work perfectly. By changing the voice knob, you can change from an old sound to a more modern overlay. I put it in the FX loop that was paired with my orange head and the Marshall cabin, and it sounded great. It has a very complete sound, especially since I played the trio.
Large overload simulator / amplifier pedal. My first outstanding product is impressive in sound quality and structure. It's not very bright, some people might call it muddy, but it's very useful for me to play dirty blues and classic rock. If you experiment with the level, the blur and distortion pedals in front of you are very good, which helps to add a little more. For this reason, I also run the compressor in front of him. There must be a strong tone in itself, maybe just a little mention is missing, but I'm very happy with $ 40. The photos I took show the settings that the fog used to use for the warm roar ...
These magnificent pedals are very valuable. This pedal is designed to go directly to your computer interface, but I connect it to the amplifier's effects loop and it sounds great. I got the hot lava associated with the Mesa Boogie amplifier. I only have a few days, so I can't say durability, but the pedals are installed in metal boxes and the pots and switches look strong. I don't work for people who have connections with the company, I'm just someone in Oklahoma who likes to play and write songs. * I played the Gibson Les Paul Custom Classic with the Blackstar HT60 valve amplifier.
I bought this pedal and discovered that everything is normal and looks strong enough. I am currently using this pedal to record directly in the Direct One DI box, and I am satisfied with the results I heard. I also used it to have a separate preamp on the amplifier when it played my band. The band agrees that this sounds great. Warm and powerful bass sound. I tried the Voice of America, but I didn't care, I sent it back and kept it in California. And I don't care if Joyo Dr. J Sparrow pedals for the Bassist and HATE Sans amplifier pedals without IF. Great bass sound is great.
Better than the VOX ST and Digitech series. I really like amplifier modeling because I have a cheap solid state amplifier. This "California" is the best amp model I've found so far. I did not use the distortion, I left the output of the pedal clean to be able to change the amplifier (of a sound) that I have. This California pedal is very different, I don't know if it sounds like a Mesa-Boogie amplifier, but it even sounds better than my Acoustic G120h amplifier. The fact that I ordered the Joyo American pedals, and that everyone is in the state of order, means that people realize that Joyo copies and imitations are cheaper than some of the original pedals. This is a good amplifier pedal ... thanks and blessing.
I have been playing the first version of the A Mesa Mark IV for the EV 200W for more than 20 years, and this pedal captures the rhythm channel very well. A lot of table settings for low and obvious range. Turn the sound and sound up and you will approach the guide channel. The sound behind the midrange and bass sounds like my Boogie microphone (the way I play). For the heavier front type, I placed a Boss Metal Zone MT-2 in front of him. The Joyo network eliminates the roughness of the metal zone and provides excellent sound distortion and a large amount of tactile sensitivity for Princeton 65 reverberation. This will be used frequently. The quality of the pedal is also excellent. All knobs feel tight and the pedals have some weight. This is a surprisingly good effects pedal! It is also worth noting that many Joyo pedals are true bypass (these have "real bypass" printed on the switch), but this is not the case. The I / O buffer used looks great, but I tried it and there was no obvious tone degradation in the circuit.
I bought two. I run a Dynasonic Duo Jet through this puppy for Neil Young grunge all day and all night. My tele grinds like Keith Richards through this. Don't let the low price dissuade you - watch the reviews on YouTube and get you some tone today! Buy it - you won't be disappointed...I bought two...
Great tone. I used this straight to the front of the amplifier and via PA. Sounds best when plugged to the PA
