Perfect for everyone who want their home studio!

This is a perfect kit for those looking to get into studio photography. I’ve only used my dog as a model so far, but the lighting and stands are working great. Now I just need to find some great backdrops! <o

Post office lost my first order, but I guess good things do come to those who wait. Arrived today and within minutes, I already had most of the lights assembled and my backdrop stand up. I can say that the backdrops will need to hang a little while to get the shipping creases out. Maybe a single fold and rolling would have been better, just an opinion. The lights are really nice and were very easy to put up. I'll buy a few extra clamps for the backdrop, but the ones supplied are really firm. After all was said and done, I had spent maybe 25-30 minutes from opening the box to taking a quick photo of one of our cats. Take-down is pretty simple too. I managed to fit everything inside the carry bag on the first try. Do save the little styrofoam clamshells the bulbs came in to help protect them in the bag. Really happy with the kit.

This is absolutely the best set of home studio or photography lighting and the price is fantastic at just over $100. It has 3 lights and one even has an adjustable boom arm and it comes with a sandbag for the counterweight. Each softbox has 4 big CFL soft glow bulbs in one light head. There is a switch in each head to turn on just 2 lamps or all 4 bulbs. The amount of bright diffused light is awesome and gives excellent coverage. I use 2 as side lights and the one on the boom arm as the subject light. This is a great set for f you are into green screen photography or videography. The lamps illuminate the green screen evenly and very well lit. Then use the boom arm to light your subject. With all 3 lights, this is all you need, not necessary to have a ring or ght on your subject, these are much better. Don't skimp on those cheaper light sets or soft boxes that only come with one lamp in each enclosure, you won't be happy. Spend a few dollars more and get this professional set..it's everything you need.

It’s fan lets out an minor audible whoosh and a slight whine at 2400hz (see Decibel readout from 10 cm away) - it’s fairly soft but makes podcasting a pain as you have to do audio cleanup to remove it. Don’t know if most high power lamps have this though - maybe it’s common to all? More concerningly, the power supply was sketchy (a.k.a. a fire hazard). Please update this product to use a UL listed or at least not super sketchy power supply. The extra few dollars will protect people from a rare, but disastrous situation. For the less electrical engineer types out there, the attached photo shows a tiny ac/DC converter in a big plastic box. That means over time, it can heat to levels that either burn things near the box or melt internal parts that themselves catch fire. A word of balance here for potential buyers, many of the manufacturers of these kind of devices (photo lamps) use similar power supplies, so if the power supply feels cheap (lightweight, flimsy, no UL or other stickers on it) - make sure you aren’t using it unattended. Alternatively, leave a question in the questions section to see if the power supply is UL listed - at least then the manufacturer has to consider the fire risk of their device. <ol class=

The lights are ok My problem with this is that to put together the box you have to individually place each stick inside the box to hold the shape unlike other brand where you just open and close to install so that for me was a big deal because i have to put it away after each use it took me like half an hr to put away. If you have a studio just set for photography then this would be a great buy for beginners

For the price, its wonderful. Sure there are ones that may have this or that, but if you arent a professional who sets up and takes down quickly, these are great! Thank you

Super easy to install and lightweight. I am not a professional at all and it took me no time to set it up. I have limited space, so it’s great that I can fold it up after I am done and store it in the bag, very compact. I am always getting holiday and birthday photos done every year professionally for my kids, they are expansive and the prices add up. I thought why not get my own equipment and try taking photos myself. The most important thing is lighting and the rest a good photo editing software can take care off. I am shocked out how good the quality the photo came out, even taking it with my iPhone on portrait mode. I am just mad that I didn’t take of doing this earlier. Would have saved me hundreds of dollars. <ol

This is a great little light rig. We got it to help my girlfriend create her online content. It really helped fill in all the areas that our other lights were not hitting. Good quality and good results.
