I’m very impressed with the performance of this product. It’s efficient, easy to use, and exactly what I needed.
Nice product, looking forward to other products.
The product is decent. It performs well, but there are a few aspects I think could be improved. Overall, it’s a good option for the price.
It is a very viable alternative than the higher priced competitor. It feels sturdy, I have tried holstering my Nikon D800 with 70-200mm and my D810 with 24-70mm and it is just fine. The metal plate is secure. One tip I can give is tighten the screws on the belt to be sure it will be secure enough.

... alles gut, alles top!; gerne wieder!
Great product. Very useful. Shipping as schedule. Highly recommended.
ok
super
Works great, just need to be wearing a belt while using this clip, it has a tendency to pull your pants down when holding a DSLR!!!
Could have been a better finished product. Finishing touches missing.
this is a knock-off of the "Spyder" product. It does what it claims quite effectively, but locks camera in groove each time. The original has a lock open feature - making retrieval a one handed operation. This unit requires 2 hands - one to hold the lever open while the other lifts the camera out of the groove. I wedged a "shim" in to lock it open and have to remove it if I do want it to lock. I guess trying tocutcost meanscuttingcorners. I would buy the original if I had it to do over again.
I work in a nightclub, I bought some plastic versions of this product, went through 5 of them to be exact, 3 times resulting in my camera, lens, and flash crashing to the floor. The problem with the plastic ones is as soon as you have someone jump up on you or sit down without removing your camera then stand up they break....any little thing can do it....which means thousands of dollars worth of gear goes tumbling to the floor. Yes they have metal supporting them, but if you have hefty gear steer away from the plastic ones the metal in them bends. I loved the way the clip worked though, so finally I found a metal one, this one. I really like it. It can be a little odd at times and difficult, but much better than a neck strap or rapid strap. if you are using the plastic ones for a DSLR stop immediately and get this instead, your gear will be much safer!
My first unit had a defective release latch so I sent it back. The second one is working well. 4 stars because the threads on the holes are misaligned, the latch is a little sticky sometimes etc. Sometimes you find a diamond in the rough, this time it's you get what you pay for. Any more and I would send it back and buy the real thing.
This is the perfect cheaper alternative to the spider holster clip. I recommend it! Pros: 1.Top quality metal 2. Works like a charm 3. Very cost effective 4. Mine came designed to be used on the left Cons. 1. you cannot keep the clip on "always open" as the original. FIX: (however, I stuck a small screw in while it's in the up position to keep it open so I can use only one hand to lock or release the camera in the slot) 2. Does pull your pants down if the camera and lens is heavy and if you clip it only to your belt. FIX: (Fits very comfortable with lighter gear and especially if you clip it to both your belt and pants) 3. Does not come with screw to switch the protruding piece to the other side in case you wanted to wear it on the right side. FIX: (it seems that it can be unscrewed and used on the other side but you'd need something to fit in the hole to unscrew it.) Note: light with my nikon d5100 plus 50mm1.8 Heavy with nikon d7000 plus 85mm 1.8
It works well. as good as my expected
Built like a tank. Big, secure, holds the camera body at a nice angle with the lenses I've tried (mid-sized lenses). Strong enough for bigger gear. I would say "Five Stars" for big heavy gear, but uncomfortably heavy for smaller camera/lens setups.
Great product. Exactly what I needed and solid as hell! If you want one handed release, go spend more money.
Tried the cheap plastic ones Tried the heavy metal one. Now I've found the one for me! Wish I had found this one first.
Very solidly built product. Holds camera with ease. The pin easily attaches to the standard camera's screw mounting hole and then goes into the holster with a locking mechanism you flip to release. Now I can easily carry the camera on my waist or I can mount it on my backpack.
Not as good for my use as Spyder holster for 2 reasons. First, the lock will lock open easily so when you return the camera to the holster, it is not necessarily locked in. It works on both belt and backpack strap but being dual use, it does not work as well as other designs on the belt that have 2 loops and thus more stability. On the positive side, it is all metal design and seems to be a quality piece for just 20.
Great Build... Should Have Purchase These Along Time Ago... Works Great On My Utility Belt
Very good as good as my expected
